African women who didn't attain education face various challenges in life looking for what to do,they distil and brew local alcohol to earn a living. They live under very harsh condition looking for food to feed the children and their families so we as AYOWECCA-Uganda came out to sensitize, train, equip families and to lay bare truths to the people to help them change and to help us too in the campaign on girl child education, end early child marriages, end hunger, teenage pregnancies modern farming methods among others, affecting human beings.we request people from different parts of the whole world that lets join hands, promote brotherhood and help others live or survive in Africa.
We would love appeal to all parents, religious leaders, cultural leaders and to all community leaders to ensure bars and videos halls are closed and opened past 5.30pm for the youths and men to engage in Agriculture or productive activities before they can sit idol. Many men and youths take these opportunities and start using drugs like tobacco, marijuana and drinking excess-fully that leads to increase of crime, this is partially why domestic violence is in the increase in Africa where by most of the work on the garden and home obligation have been left for the unemployed women who try to go the garden;Once they have cultivated and its time for harvest, the owners of the land ( men) come to sale off the produce to get money for drinking, telling the women, you didn't come here with land yet its her sweat.
Many young girls who get into sexual activities when they are still young and their bodies immature end up conceiving getting into trouble when giving birth. when a girl gets married before 18 years of Age then it means she is still a child and her body has not yet developed,Most of them say they conceive and give birth at the end of the day they get many challenges as surgeons say 80% of the young girls under go operations and some who try giving birth in poor health centres where they teer badily or even die due to lack of enough health workers and after they face difficulty getting in men to marry them and at their homes they construct for her a hat far away and food is given to them separate from her people because they are considered as disgrace, misfortune, smelling and dirty not to eat or be near people, that is to say she is considered to be a taboo in family so therefore contributing to high cases of fistula.
There's more to be done in Africa to change and protect the lives of our people especially our leaders and communities have to wake up. However AYOWECCA-Uganda calls whoever is willing to work with us to bring change in the world and make it a better place for everyone your most welcome.
LETS UNITE,HELP AND TRANSFORM AFRICA.
