MEU Tallinn 2017 is looking for Commissioners!

The Commissioners will present the Commission proposals to the participants and provide expertise throughout the negotiations. This refers both to details in the proposals and to general assistance with formulating amendments. In order to do so, comprehensive knowledge of the proposal topic at hand is required. Commissioners are part of the Content Team and will be involved in the preparation of the simulation together with the Chairs.
It is compulsory for this position to be available and to be in Tallinn during the time of the event (end of July 2017).
Commissioners should plan 2-3 hours of work per week.
Candidates should be willing to take on this position on a voluntary basis (no salary offered).
Background & skills needed:
Background in Law and/or European Studies and/or Political Sciences (preferred)
Thorough knowledge of EU institutions and legislative processes (required)
Knowledge of and experience in using EU documentation database (required)
Excellent communication skills (required)
Excellent level of English, both written and spoken (required)
Previous MEU and/or MUN experience (required)
