So let us start.
Impact Hub Belgrade is the first one that comes to mind. The simple reason for that is its location. It is situated in Makedonska Street, 2 minutes away from Republic Square, the main square in Belgrade. It is also really close to Skadarska, a bohemian street with lots of coffee and food places. The building it is in is actually one of the most beautiful architectural achievements in Serbian history. The Hub itself spans over 2 floors and offers plenty of space for everyone. There are co-working spaces, meeting halls, Skype booths and conference rooms so whatever your needs are they will be able to accommodate you. They also offer free coffee and tea and have a designated smoking area on the terrace. The best part of becoming part of Impact Hub Community is the opportunity to connect with members and entrepreneurs from all over the world and to take part in their events! They organize events for entrepreneurs on a weekly basis so check them out if you are interested.
Startit center is a media channel and co-working space focusing on developing tech startups and ecosystem. They offer a really huge space, in a modern, industrial design style that is also equipped with conference halls and a presentation space. It is located 2 minutes from the railway and main bus station and around 15 minutes from the Center. You get free coffee and a smoking area which is really great. One of the best things about Startit is that it provides you with access to necessary technology and to experts from tech areas who will be able to help you develop your idea. You will also get a chance to hang out with some of the best IT experts Serbia has to offer and to take part in their lectures and events.
Nova Iskra is one ofthe most beautiful co-working space in Serbia, featured in a bunch of design and architecture magazines. It is fully equipped with everything you might need - you get a desk with your own drawers, access to presentation and meeting rooms and the use of their Design library! You have an option to join one of their local or international education programs aimed at creativity, innovation and social design or something from their creative business domain.
ICT Hub Playground is the newest co-working place in Belgrade, that opened its doors just a month ago. I haven't been there yet but it looks like a great, modern workplace. It is located in a great spot, a few minutes away from Republic Square. It offers meeting rooms, phone booths and presentation halls and a new age modular space that shapes around your needs. They are focusing on IT and new technologies and offer programs aimed at supporting them, from idea development to investment readiness.
These are the ones that come to mind that fit into the traditional co-working space but I would also recommend to check out LaptopFriendly. They organize small co-working HUBs in coffee places all over the town and have several options that include coffee, juice and something to eat. It is a great way to get to know Belgrade and meet new people along the way. Plus, you don't seem like a weirdo sitting alone the whole day in a secluded part of a cafe.
