#1 Create yourself a morning & evening routine
Routine is something familiar in which we find comfort. Thus, having a morning & evening routine will not only save you time, but also provide you with moments to treat yourself.
#2 Avoid public transportation
“Rush hour hell” – need I say more? Instead of taking the tube privilege walking! It is a great way to clear your mind, and get your thoughts in order.
#3 Take up sport
Let’s keep it real, most of us aren’t athletic people! Nevertheless, exercising is a great stress reliefer – and we do need an outlet! Take my experience as an example, it has been two months and I clearly feel a difference in my body & mind health.
#4 Have a “leave early” day
If you are a workaholic, like myself, you never leave the office on time. You always tell yourself: “If I stay 10 more minutes, I can finish this”. 10 minutes turn into 1 or 2 hours, so I came up with a system. Start your week, by choosing one day on which you will leave work at exactly 5.00 pm. Therefore, getting an early start on your evening!
#5 Make the most out of your weekends
After a long exhausting week, nothing seems better than sleeping your weekend off, but I would advise you not to! It’s a vicious circle! Instead, plan some activities: catch up with a friend, watch the latest movie, try that new restaurant, visit that exposition you are interested in, travel to whatever city or country next on your list …
