Some people also call is Salat, it is something, which Muslims have to practice daily and that too five times a day, it is their daily prayer. Also, it is not necessary for them to do their prayers in mosque, they can do it in their house as well, they just have to make sure that they are facing the Kaaba and that is it, but on Friday, people prefer to do their prayers in a mosque and listen to the khutba as well. Muslim fasts during Ramadan, which is known as the Holy month. They fast for almost whole month and their fast starts from the sunrise and ends on the sunset, and during this, they cannot eat or drink anything, but if you are sick, pregnant or any other exception, then you can also leave your fasts and fulfill them later, when you are totally healthy and fine.
3. The Shahada:
It is one of the most important pillars, it says and every Muslim should believe that “There is no God but God and Muhammad is his prophet.” they should have full faith in this and should not question this no matter what. If they call themselves Muslims, then they have to have full belief in this statement.
It is basically sharing, people who are the fortune and can afford to live a healthy and a peaceful life, they have to share some part of their wealth with the unfortunate people, but only with people who have the same believes as them.
It is the last pillar of Islam, it is not just for every other Muslim, but it is must for a Muslim who is wealthy and can easily afford to go on a Hajj. Also, Muslim who can afford to do Hajj, are only required to do it once, if they do it more than once then it is their choice, but they should at least do it once.
