The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is a part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network and is neutral politically, non-denominational, aim to empowering youth worldwide.
Under guidance of Assistant Secretary General on Innovation, The Innovation Assistant coordinate various innovation initiatives across the country, build and maintain Innovation portfolio at national level ensuring that IYF has a defined and consistent innovation approach, implementing new digital marketing strategies and innovative solutions that will ensure stability and increase in IYF's performance and revenue.
To voluntarily represent, positively promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for better world” in various programs and opportunities throughout the IYF interventions and the community.
(A) Innovation Program support:
·Participates in the development of Projects that may consist of a variety of innovation challenges including brand-led innovation, new business creation and strategic whitespace development.
·Contributes to the formulation of approved Country Team plans, operating plans, budgets and capital expenditure requests in line with IYF strategic goals and objectives.
·Identify new business opportunities in strategically relevant areas and maintain a view of the global market to understand latest trends.
·Build & manage teams to evaluate new business opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to drive Innovation projects.
·Constantly implement innovative digital campaigns to increase revenues for the Country Team.
(B) Partnerships and Communication Support:
·Build strong relationships with technology vendors and develop first-to-market digital innovation that aligns with team goals and Country team initiatives.
·To report success stories, articles and news around innovative youth to HQ Communications.
·Cultivate and cultivation management of prospective collaboration partners.
·Strategic planning and creative Thinking.
·Planning and Organizing.
·Drive for Results.
·Collaboration and Teamwork.
·Ability to assist in corporate marketing and strategic planning.
·Excellent computer, internet, social media and information system skills.
·Only (18-38) age is accepted for this position.
·Highly interested in innovation, Lithuanian youth empowerment and youth issues.
·All nationalities are accepted for application – remote volunteering is possible.
Skills Required for Position:
·Ability to interact cordially and communicate with a diverse community.
·Effective oral and written communication skills.
·Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly, accurately and effectively.
Experience and results preferred at national level and preferred in creative field, operations management or marketing, international relations, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or another relevant field.
Fluency in English is essential.
