Dear colleagues and friends,
Welcome to MUN:Planet, the interactive platform for participants at Model UNs from all around the world. This platform is an outcome of several MUN alumni in South Eastern Europe who wanted to pass on the MUN legacy to the upcoming generations of students and delegates. On this platform we solve one of the greatest contemporary challenge in knowledge transfer and education: how to connect meaningfully in order to organize international events, how to travel, make friends, fundraise money, improve our career skills, find jobs? On behalf of the entire MUN:Planet team I can promise you a fantastic journey, a lot of useful tips, inspiration and laughter.
One of the earliest benefits that MUNPlanet will deliver to you is providing the most relevant tips about branding your Model UN. By learning about branding, you will improve your planning skills; you will create a valuable experience, and you will set your conference apart from the competition, not just in the MUN context, but whenever you organize an event.
We live in the times of increased transparency where every minute more than 2 million Google search queries are created and 20 millions of photos are shared via Flickr as Intel points it out.
All this communication noise makes it difficult for an aspiring young person to see the wood of success from the distracting trees. Every day, MUN:Planet will challenge such reality and provide a solution: the most relevant tips from MUN Alumni to MUN Delegates and Organizers. Because MUN is more than a conference. It is a long-lasting hub of networks and knowledge which may get activated several years upon graduating, when you start your job search, when you look for start-up partners or when you still have to pass The International Trade Exam.
The content about MUN Branding will practically explain the aspects below and more:
- the rationale behind MUN Conferences,
-how to build the brand’s identity along all stages and in all circumstances (both positive and challenging)
- how to make your brand work in all communication channels (both online and offline)
- how to liaise with all stakeholders that are involved in your MUN
- how to prepare your team and delegates for stress-free, but still engaging conference
- how to ensure that your MUN brand communicates consistently before, during and after the event.
-how to replicate MUN experience after a relevant evaluation.
Until our next encounter, stay MUNish: Modern and Modest, United in Know-How.
