When and where will the MiMUN-UCJC conference happen?
MiMUN-UCJC will be held in Madrid, capital of Spain, from the 26th to the 30th of October 2015.
How much is the conference fee for MiMUN-UCJC?
The participation fee is 60€ per person. Said fee includes:
·Private transportation to and from the Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) campus outside the city (where most of the sessions will be taking place)
·A welcome cocktail on the first day.
·Lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at “The Pavillion”, the UCJC restaurant.
·Special prices and discounts at the cafeteria at any other time.
·Training sessions with experts, both on public speaking and on the topics of the agenda.
·Miscellaneous material: badges, folders, placards, water during sessions, etc.
We expect to host around 160 participants: 150 delegates and 10 members of the press team.
How long will MiMUN-UCJC conference be?
The conference is scheduled to last 5 days, starting Monday the 26th of October and ending Friday the 30th.
Is accommodation included in the conference fee? If
not, what are my accommodation options?
No, the conference fee does not include accommodation. We do however, recommend several Hotels, Hostels and B&B in our website (Further information | MIMUN).
What committees will MiMUN-UCJC simulate?
This edition of MiMUN will simulate:
The 2nd committee of the UN General Assembly of Economic and financial affairs (Spanish speaking Committee)
·The 3rd committee of the General Assembly of Social, humanitarian and cultural affairs (Spanish speaking Committee)
·The UN Security Council (Spanish speaking Committee)
·The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) (English speaking Committee)
·The UN Human Rights Council (English speaking Committee)
You should fly to the “Adolfo Suarez-Madrid Barajas airport” when booking your flight to Madrid; there are several transportation options (both public and private) from and to the city center.
What does MiMUN-UCJC Social Schedule look like?
We will be having three social events during MiMUN-UCJC: on Monday the 26th there will be a welcome cocktail for all the participants to lobby and discuss the topics informally among them; on Wednesday the 28th we will have a Global Village event; and on Friday the 30th there will be a farewell party. What are 3 MUST SEE places in Madrid?
There are tons of places to visit in Madrid, and it’s not easy to choose just three of them. Nevertheless we think the following are representative of all the different alternatives that the city of Madrid offers:

Yes, the last day of the Conference (including our plenary session of the General Assembly and the Closing ceremony) will be held in the Regional Assembly (Parliament) of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, with presence of regional officials and personalities.
is the local currency and how much money should one bring to have a great time?
The local currency is the Euro (€) and we recommend to bring around 150-200€ in order to enjoy your time in Madrid the most.
