“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”― John Lennon.
I participate regularly at MUN conferences held in my University and around Japan, where I am currently studying. Initially I started MUN as just another pastime activity but after meeting various delegates at the conference my interests might have changed.Their enthusiasm, passion and zeal to bring about a change have made me wonder about my purpose in life.
MUN conferences are portals which gather delegates from nooks and corners of the world. Delegates coming from different parts of the world differ not only in language, culture, race or creed but also in their way of understanding the problems we face worldwide. What one believes to be a solution to the problem might be a setback for another. In order to communicate and understand each other better we need a connecting point. MUN planet can be this connecting point that connects global minds together to discuss and share their ideas and opinions.
We have more than 100 MUN conferences every year and at each conference more than 5 resolution papers are written on different Agendas. What exactly happens to these resolution papers once the conference is over?MUN planet gives the opportunity to share our work be it resolution papers, our jobs or just our views with each other. This not only helps us get guidance from experts but also get valuable comments from people with same interests thinking differently.
Connecting global minds is a necessity because by doing so we are not only connecting people but the entire world together at one focal point. To achieve our dreams and turn them to reality we need to act as one and that’s what MUN planet offers.
