In order to make your name on MUNPlanet and get the fame you deserve, you’re gonna have to bring in some great content to the table, namely posts. To get started, just press the “+Add” button in the upper right corner, select “Post,” and you are good to go!
Welcome to your post editor! There are three things for you to master here: title, body, and topic.
The title is a very important part of the post since it is the first interaction with your readers, and this is where its power lies. Even a great post can pass by silently if you don’t catch your readers’ attention. So unless you have an attention-grabbing title, you might want to try rewriting it. Engage your readers by writing about topic they can relate to and ask them for feedback in the end.
The body of your post consists of introduction, elaboration and conclusion.
In the introduction, establish the problem and set the tone for the further writing. Provoke interest among your readers so that they stay with you until the end. Establishing a close relationship with them at this early stage is essential for your mutual understanding. Meet their expectations through your writing, but, at the same time, understand their needs, as well.
While you write, divide your post into paragraphs for easier organization. You are not limited by the number of paragraphs, but having more short ones is always better than having four long ones.
Now that you’ve made an introduction, elaborate the ideas you had previously introduced and offer to members the solutions to their problems.
How do you know when it is time to wrap things up? Once you have alsmost exhausted your idea. Do not skip adding finishing touches to your text because they are the key to finalizing the experience. If the readers liked one of your posts, they are more likely to follow you and your work.
Once done with everything, double check your grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation.
Just like everyone else, we are very passionate about citing and giving credit to the original authors of the content. In case you are using an external photo, make sure you provide the name of the Author with the link, or just the link if the name is not available. The same goes for quotes: in case you are quoting someone, put the quote in italics and provide the name of the author in the end.
For your convenience, we have enabled PDF uploading. If you have a document that needs to accompany your work, just press “Upload PDF” button and select the wanted document.
For easier community-wide search, each post is assigned to a certain topic, or number of topics. We have already created a list of possible topics for you, but in cases where our list does not cover the topics you’re interested in, you can add them yourself. Just click on “Create New Topic as…”
