It is located on the Potohar Pleateau – one of the earliest sites of human settlement in Asia. With its extravagant beauty, lush green areas surrounded by Margalla hills all add to its exquisiteness. Nonetheless, Islamabad was declared as the “Second most beautiful capital in the world” as most of you might have seen it in the recent surveys. Yes people! This is that second city in the list. Who would have imagined right?
Let me tell you about the weather of this city. All it needs is just one rain the view of the city becomes so mesmerizing that you can’t get away with it. Wide roads with pine trees around all gets washed up with rain and it looks nothing less than London.

One feature of Islamabadi’s which distinguishes them from other people is being called “Burgers” i-e in other words sophisticated people who follow way to much rules and manners. Apart from this the city has a vast social circle where everyone knows everyone. Kitty parties, formal dinners, lunches, birthday celebrations all are a routine affair in the city. This is the reason the city has an abundance of restaurants and hotels. Which range from Desi food, fast food to Italian, Lebanese and Turkish cuisines. Every type of food is available according to people’s choices and mood. Usually people here cook less at home and eat more outside.Islamabad is home to natural beauty all around. The city has the best hiking tracks in the form of Margalla hills. It won’t matter if you did visit up there few days ago. You would still want to go because the hills are always calling you.
