So far here’s what you know about me:
degree student in economics
at university of Rennes 1
schedule to keep up with
Among the things that you don’t know:
out to the city centre a couple of hours per weeks
Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? … let’s find out!
Admiring architecture – République, Place de la mairie, L’opéra
Heart of the city centre, stepping out “République” metro stop a majestic building will amaze you. Further up the road, “Place de la mairie” and the Opera house of Rennes will keep you in admiration. This square is home to many spontaneous street performers or planned outdoors events and festivities.
Escaping & relaxing – Le parlement de Bretgane, Palais Saint Georges, Jardin du Thabor, Quai de Vilaine
For an afternoon stroll, a romantic date, a morning footing, a chilling spot with your friends or an escapade without expenses these locations are the place to go.
Coffee breaks & restaurants – Place du Champ Jacquet, Place Saint Anne
This old part of the town, with its traditional half-timbered houses, is the hub of coffee shops, beautiful patios and bistros for all tastes.
Table ice hockey is my game, and Friday bowling night is a must to unwind. The bowling centre is the place to all arcade/lounge vibes fans.
Purposely, I held back on some places. So, stay tuned and on the watch for the following post – Painting the town red ;)
