PART 2 : IT STARTED TO GET SERIOUS.
At the same time that I was working on the first steps of AMUN, I was preparing my own TEDx event, the license was a few days away from being granted (TEDxArzew), but then things became more serious than I had ever expected and AMUN started taking all the time I had for anything else, and since my committment level is Over 9000 (One does not simply write something without using Memes references), I had to cancel my license and give a hundred percent of my focus to the Model United Nations, for the simple reason that we have had more than six TEDx conferences in Algeria, while the MUN concept was practically absent, which makes it a priority to someone who acts for change and youth empowerment.
What only a few people know about the AMUN Secretariat, is that the team hadn't physically met until the meeting two days before the conference. We spent 6 months working only via virtual meetings (Google Hangouts generally) which is almost impossible to do, especially with our ISP (Algérie Télécom) that provides one of the worst internet services in the world.
September had come, work wasn't really intense yet because the timeline was respected, everything was almost perfect but, ...
