As per the UN statistics, over 8 million people have been affected and over 1.2 million need immediate assistance. Over 600, 000 are homeless and are facing acute food shortage.
In order not to let condition nosedive to humanitarian crisis, We Are Nepal (WAN) is working round the clock with Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha School (SEBS), a local NGOs based in Kathmandu to raise funds for the Earthquake Relief Action Project. We Are Nepal (WAN) is a group of UNAOC-EF summer school participants of 2014, who aftermath the great earthquake, came forward to show their solidarity with Nepal. SEBS is the association of alumnus of one of the leading higher secondary public schools in Nepal- Budhanilkantha School. With the support of 4000 members around the work, SEBS has been working as a charitable organization (registration number: 55/053/054) since its inception in the year 1982. In its history of philanthropic work, SEBS has successfully implemented World Bank funded “Doko Dai” project, a mobile library in Ramche and Maheswora, Sindhupalchowk.
