My very first MUN-conference has also been the best one I have attended so far: POZiMUN in Poznan, Poland (403 Forbidden). I have attended as Delegate of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in FAO committee.
Of course the first conference is always a very special one, as everything is brand-new and you don´t really now what to expect. The team of POZiMUN (including everyone from the organisation-team to the chairs) were incredibly supportive and welcoming, especially for first-timers. In an environment where already a lot of friendships exist, it still felt like being part of the family, even though I did not now anybody the first day.
However, being surrounded by like-minded people creates international friendships very easily, and what would be a greater opportunity than meeting all these people somewhere at a conference again?
Well compared to my first ever MUN-experience, the next project will be massive: TGIMUNC, the largest MUN Conference in the world with around 5000 delegates in total. If you’re interested in joining me, follow this link: tgimunc.com/apply
