Situated in Hallon and Banjar Valleys, Kanha National Park is the striking feature of Madhya Pradesh in the Balaghat district. In the whole Asian region, this national park is the best managed. The region experiences a tropical climate where the summers are hot with temperature moving up to 40.6 degrees Celsius. During winters the temperature may move below 2 degrees.
