Cesar Ritz - Business and Culinary Arts Management
One of the most famous schools of the Swiss Education Group is definitely Cesar Ritz. This school has campuses in small cities in Switzerland such as Le Bouveret, Luzern and Brig, which allows you to choose French or German speaking area. The school has programs in hospitality management, tourism and entrepreneurship. It is named after Cesar Ritz, one of the pioneers of hotel management. One of the facilities is a private brewery. Within the walls of the school is the Mosimann Collection, a museum devoted to Anton Mosimann, a man responsible for the menu at royal weddings of British Royal Family. This school is for those who want to pursue a career in Culinary Arts and the title of Executive Chef in one of the world’s most prestigious restaurants.
In Cesar Ritz, food is perceived as art and, as such, it is treated with special care in combination with the artistic approach and the variety of tastes that will tickle your taste buds. For instance, the professors will combine world’s famous teas with particular meals just to show you that the right combination can do wonders.
The undergraduate studies such as Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management, lasts three years and it is divided in eight stages between which students need do their internship. Speaking of which, the students have a paid internship after the first and second year, while in the last semester of the third year, they need to create the final business plan. This program is conducted in cooperation with Washington State University, which means that the students get diplomas of both Universities. The program is for the students who want to establish themselves in business management and hospitality management and the focus is on applied knowledge.
In the partnership with the University of Derby, two masters programs are offered - Master of Arts in Hospitality, Health and Wellbeing and Master of Arts in Entrepreneurship for the Global Hospitality and Tourism Industry. Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) - Resort & Spa Management
The school is located in a small place called Caux and if you have ever wanted to live and study in a castle, the SHMS will meet your expectations. The building used to be the first Palace Hotel in Switzerland established in 1902. Today, this campus accommodates students from a large number of countries. Apple pronounced the school Apple Distinguished School because of widely-implemented new technologies. The school’s motto is “Learning by Doing” and its students have two paid internships.
Cafes and a club, which is open during the weekend, are a part of the complex. A large number of extracurricular activities such as concerts, movie nights, a summer ball, and the traditional Christmas Ball are some of the most prominent events. The students can play sports such as volleyball, skiing, ice-skating, football, mountain biking, climbing and swimming. The school organizes excursions in famous localities.

The school is located in the heart of Montreux, near the Geneva Airport, which is a perfect location for the students who come from other European countries and the world. The HIM school offers specialization in numerous fields such as finance, marketing, HR and management. The school offers the perfect blend of the traditional Swiss hospitality education and contemporary American business studies. This school focuses on business in hospitality management and the semesters have a slightly unconventional schedule.
The undergraduate studies last for three years and they are divided in six semesters. Only one program exists and that is Bachelor of Business Administration with Specialization in Hospitality Management. The school is partnered with the Northwood University, Michigan, meaning that you get two diplomas. Just like it is the case with the other schools of the Swiss Education Group, two paid internships are included and the students will have a chance to prove themselves in the most prestigious hotels and institutions. Finding a job after graduation will be the least of your worries. The first two years are organized like this: the first semester is for lectures, and the second for a paid internship which lasts from four to six months. In the final year, the students will do their final project.
The Masters program Business Administration in Hotel Management with specialization that last for two years is also offered. Some of the fields that you can choose include marketing, HR and finance. Once again, paid internship lasts between four and six months and it is held in the second semester.
The campus is located in the center of Montreux five minutes away from Lake Geneva. It takes one hour to get from the airport to the campus, which allows students to travel to various destinations in Europe on short notice. Three buildings are a part of the complex near Hotel Europe, Leman Residence and Hotel Miramonte. The proximity of the Lake allows students to take part in a wide range of extracurricular activities.
School of Hotel Management (IHTTI) - Hotel Design, Luxury & Brand Management
The IHTTI school is located in a small Swiss town Neuchâtel and it offers innovative programs that combine hospitality management with hotel design, branding and luxury management. As such, it differs from the other schools and its interior is a piece of artwork. The school is accredited by Chartered Society of Designers and the motto is “Where Style Meets Comfort” and they practice what they preach.
On multiple levels, the exceptional design is the trademark of the school and this policy has been applied by a bunch of famous hotels and resorts to attract the tourists and position themselves high in the world of tourism. The campus is in the building of a former hotel, which has been renovated to meet the needs of the students and the school policies as well. A modern library and several restaurants are a part of the complex.
The undergraduate studies last three years, or six semesters. The program called Bachelor of Arts in International Hospitality and Design Management is compatible with the other schools in the Group, which means that you will also receive the diploma from the University of Derby. The semesters last five months and the paid internship is between four and six months. Meanwhile, Master of International Business in Hotel and Design Management is another program available and it lasts 12 months.
