The basic philosophy of the Faculty of Science and Letters of Yasar University is educating people who are aware of the needs of the times, who are researchers, who are productive, open to innovation, and entrepreneurial. The level of development of societies is proportional to the interests and contributions to knowledge and mathematics in particular. It is indeed inevitable in all areas of mathematical life, the common language of other sciences. Mathematics and life are intrinsic, inseparable, one can not be independent of the other.
The principle objective of the faculty is to furnish the students with the information that will help them better understand the world in which they live. Subjects that observe the interactions between private organizations and both the national and international government organizations constitute the major topics of the program.
Yaşar University Faculty of Communication offers higher education programs that cover all areas of communication, which has increasingly become the most prominent issue of our era. Four-year undergraduate programs are carried out under the departments of Public Relations and Advertising, Visual Communication Design and Radio, Television and Cinema. Medium of instruction in these undergraduate programs is English.

Yaşar University Vocational School which was established in 2001 has education duration of two years. The vocational school consists of two units, namely, the Technical Programs Department and the Economics and Administrative Programs Department. Vocational School first began in the 2002-2003 academic year with four programs, and then attained to seven programs during the academic year in 2003-2004.
The Vocational School of Justice is a vocational college established to provide the intermediate work force to serve in the justice organization. The aim is to create a qualified work force with legal knowledge from the side of the justice organization.
The Mission of Yasar University English Preparatory Class is to deliver high-quality English Language instruction to its students who are non-native speakers of the language. The Intensive English Program aims to furnish students with essential language skills to pursue their studies in their subsequent departments and/or programs as well as communicate effectively in their future social and professional lives.
European Union Research Center has been established in July 2005 and functions under the governance of Rector’s Office of Yasar University. It establishes and strengthens cooperation with academic and research units working in the field of European Studies. In this regard, the Center develops and participates in new projects and offers a wide array of programs for students, faculty, and the public. It provides assistance about research and funding opportunities in European Studies and EU funded project management. The EU Center mainly focuses on the EU Research and Education programmes and managing projects that are funded under EU Programmes such as Erasmus+/Erasmus, Youth, Jean Monnet, and Marie Curie.
The Centre for Open and Distance Learning was initiated as part of Yasar University in 2013 to provide professional support to academic and administrative staff engaged in distance education developments, with the purpose of enhancing the student experience, promoting effective teaching and learning and contributing to the adoption of new modes of teaching.
The establishment of an Institute for Mediterranean studies is twofold: First, it will provide a platform for exchange of ideas, academics, researchers, policy-makers as well as students who are interested in exploring the political, economic and social dynamics in the Mediterranean. The Institute will elaborate on various themes regarded as the most important challenges facing this broader geography of the Mediterranean.
Yaşar University C ntinuing Education Centre (YUCEC) was established to meet the needs of lifelong learning, in-service training and personal training. The centre organises educational programs, courses, seminars and conferences for the public, private sector, international institutions, establishments and individuals requirements.
The Project Support Office (PDO) will provide encouragement for scholars and students researching Scientific Research Projects (BAP), and all kinds of support within the scope of the project.
The Information and Technology Transfer Office (BTO) manages the process of transforming the information and infrastructure of Yaşar University into economic and social values. BTTO, conferences, courses, presentations, seminars and trainings aimed at collecting information produced at the University; Consultancy services, R & D projects funded by contractual or grant grants jointly conducted by public and private sector organizations; Patent, utility model and industrial design registration; Technology and licensing spin-off and start-up companies.
Minerva Incubation Center has been active since 2015 under the roof of Yaşar University Information and Technology Transfer Office in order to support all entrepreneurs, especially students and academicians in Yaşar University.
‘Foundation Courses’ are incorporated into the curriculum of Yaşar University to assist students in gaining essential skills. These essential skills can provide graduates with advantages and differentiating abilities, when compared to their contemporaries. Research and reviews are carried out of international higher education programs, to ensure the relevance of these additional skills in the market place. In addition recent ‘needs analysis’ is also undertaken to identify the demands of the sector, institutions and businesses, which may recruit our graduates.
In addition to the Preparatory Class and Department Courses of Academic English, Yasar University School of Foreign Languages, has been running second language courses in 6 different foreign languages for the departments and students since the 2009-2010 academic year.
Student Activities Coordinator; Yaşar University was established to organize Student Orientation Trainings, to carry out academic project consultancy of students, to coordinate the part-time student work program.
