Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholar Suvendu Biswas is a top academic performer and a young policy researcher. He has four years of research experience. Suvendu's professional career in research was first developed in 2011 as a research assistant/ motivator at a multinational research organization, Nielsen. Later, he joined the top notch organizations of the country like BRAC, Grameen Communication (sister organization of grameen bank), etc. He did work for some research projects of Manchester University and Lancaster University regarding development perspective in Bangladesh as well. He has international working experience in diversified culture with 3000 plus students from more than 70 countries as a team leader.
Suvendu Biswas received fully funded Indian Government Scholarship and completed his Masters Program in Public Administration, Good Governance and Public Policy from the University of Mysore, India following his Graduation Program in International Relations and Foreign Policy from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He was awarded Gold Medal from the University of Mysore, India for his best academic performance and research.
Suvendu Biswas has 13 years of hands-on experience in teaching and mentoring secondary and Higher Secondary level students in the field of English language in Bangladesh. Presently, he is working with Teach For Bangladesh as a Fellow. Suvendu's current priority is to work in Education in the low income context in Bangladesh. For Suvendu, working for research, education and policy is not just enhancing the scope of employment but an opportunity towards advancing the learning experience on different issues related to the development.
